The Enforcement Directorate's Delhi office announced on September 19, 2026 that it had provisionally attached 29,46,341 shares of Industrial Investment Trust Limited held by N. N. Financial Services Private Limited in its PACL money-laundering investigation. The agency valued the holding at Rs42.13 crore, using a September 18 price of Rs143 per share.

ED said the shares had been purchased for Rs30.90 crore and alleged that their acquisition was financed with money diverted from PACL investors. Its release put cumulative attachments at about Rs29,667.76 crore at that stage. These were the agency's allegations and provisional asset restraints, not a finding that the shareholder or listed company had been convicted.

A separate recovery step preceded that action. In a June 9 release, ED said a special PMLA court had ordered restitution of 282 immovable properties, valued at approximately Rs9,420.57 crore, to the Justice Lodha Committee. The committee was constituted following the Supreme Court's February 2, 2016 direction to dispose of PACL land and assets and use sale proceeds for investor refunds. Restitution of property to the committee is distinct from cash reaching individual claimants.

Subsequently, an October 8 ED release announced attachment of 48 properties in Pune, Mumbai and Raigad valued at Rs567.45 crore. The agency identified holdings in the names of Prateek Kumar, his son Ansh Prateek Kumar and three entities: Beaming Infradevelopers, Ganraj Properties and Greenfield Estates. It alleged that PACL funds had financed those acquisitions and reported cumulative attachments of approximately Rs30,235.21 crore after the action.

The October release also set out Prateek Kumar's procedural history. ED said it had named him as accused number 13 in its first supplementary prosecution complaint, filed on August 20, 2022. The special court took cognisance on September 19 that year and issued an open-ended non-bailable warrant against him on April 9, 2025. The agency said its investigation remained in progress.
