Indian Air Force won the seventh Arjan Singh Memorial Hockey Tournament with a 2-1 victory over Indian Navy on July 3, 2026, at Amit Singh Bakshi Hockey Stadium, Air Force Station Jalahalli. The final settled a contest between teams that had drawn their earlier group match, according to Hockey India's results.

Air Force had opened its campaign on June 23 by beating Army Southern Command Bengaluru 2-0. Agniveer Vinayak Santosh Hande received the opening match award and Rs 25,000, the Defence Ministry reported. The Air Force Sports Control Board organised the 16-team competition as part of the commemoration of Arjan Singh's 107th birth anniversary.

Hockey India's fixture placed Air Force and Navy together in Pool A with Southern Command and Goods and Service Tax Chennai. The schedule provided three group matches per team, followed by quarterfinals taking the first two teams from each of four pools. June 29 was reserved as a rest day before the knockout stage.

The results record Air Force's 9-1 win over the Chennai side and a 1-1 draw with Navy. In the quarterfinal it defeated Indian Army 2-1. Bharat Petroleum then held Air Force to 2-2 in the semifinal; Air Force advanced by winning the shootout 3-2. Navy's knockout route ran through a 2-0 win over Rail Wheel Factory and a 3-2 win over Indian Railways.

Air Force's final win broke the deadlock from the group encounter. It followed consecutive one-goal and shootout decisions in the preceding knockout rounds.

Sergeant Anand Lakra received the final's match award, while Agyapal was named player of the tournament, according to the ministry's closing report. Air Force received Rs 10 lakh as champion and Navy Rs 8 lakh as runner-up, alongside their medals and trophies.
